“African Spurgeon” on Obama

I know some of you are waiting on a report on our trip to Jackson to organize leadership for the Persohood Ammendment, but tha likely not come until this weekend . In the meantime, my daughter, Emily showed me this piece last night & I thought it worth sharing .

Conrad Mbewe is a Reformed Baptist pastor in Zambia. He has been referred to as “the African Spurgeon”. Ian Murray of Baner of Truth calls the group of Reformed Baptist churches that Mbewe is involved with the “most vibrant Christian work in the world”. Here s his perspective — as an African Chrsitan — on the innauguration of Obama :

Mbewe is also among the men that are going to be taking over the work that Brother Anthony Mathenia (from our church) started with Ethiopian pastors.
